What this page is for #
AI View is the all-in-one home screen for GEOmatic. It’s where new users land after activation, and it hosts the welcome overlay, quick settings, weekly KPIs, bot ETA cards, and a live Content AI Report (with one-click Auto-optimiser).
Hero banner & quick actions #
At the top, a blue banner confirms “GEOmatic is optimizing your site”, with a Refresh button and Open 1-minute wizard. The subtitle reminds you that internal linking, sitemaps, pings, and weekly refresh run in the background.
Welcome overlay (first visit) #
Opening AI View for the first time displays a friendly overlay: Start 1-minute wizard or Maybe later. The mini-points highlight AI Sitemap & JSON-LD, Bot ETA prediction, and Auto-optimize in background. Choosing Start triggers the on-page wizard button automatically. (Each admin can dismiss this once.)
Quick links & Unified settings #
A compact grid links to AI Experience, AI Insights, AI Local Business, OpenAI Key, and License—handy shortcuts as you configure. The Unified settings card includes:
- Search Console property with a one-click jump to Settings → Reading and direct links to sitemap.xml, ai-sitemap.xml, and hreflang-sitemap.xml.
- IndexNow helper notes.
- AI budgets & fallbacks toggle (daily cap + circuit-breaker).
- Modules toggles for Weekly content refresh, Title A/B, and GSC indexing checks, plus Save modules feedback.
Weekly report (at a glance) #
A KPI card summarizes your setup and hygiene:
- Posts refreshed (7d)
- Scheduled jobs (count)
- GSC property state and Last check
- Keys status chips for major providers, with a note that keys are checked daily.
Bot ETA (predictive) & exports #
For the top bot families, you’ll see “Next visit (estimate)” cards. Use the built-in Export CSV or Export JSON to download a clean, timestamped log of recent bot visits for audits or reporting.
Content AI Report (live table) #
The table lists the last 20 posts/pages (any status), with columns Title, Score, Features (badges for Schema and Summary), Status, and Actions.
- Title opens the public page (or a safe Preview if not published).
- Edit opens the WordPress editor (if you have permission).
- Auto-optimiser runs an inline optimization; the Score and badges update on success.
This gives editors a fast, non-technical audit view they can act on immediately.
Extra exports under the page title #
Two export buttons appear just below the AI View heading: Export CSV and Export CSV + details (adds recent Search Console checks per URL). Perfect for a quick content audit outside WordPress.
Typical workflow this page enables #
- Skim the banner to confirm automation is active; open the 1-minute wizard if you’re onboarding.
- Use Unified settings to link Search Console, review sitemaps, and toggle weekly refresh/GSC checks. Save modules.
- Check Weekly report KPIs and Keys status chips.
- Review Bot ETA cards; if needed, Export CSV/JSON for stakeholder updates.
- Work through the Content AI Report: open, edit, or click Auto-optimiser for quick wins; the row updates instantly.
Access & safety (non-technical) #
AI View is for administrators; it shows practical KPIs, links, and lightweight logs—not raw secrets (keys remain masked elsewhere, and actions are permission-checked).
Buyer-friendly tips #
- Start here after install—the plugin even redirects to this page once so you don’t miss anything.
- Use Export CSV + details when you need to include Search Console signals in a deck or client report.
- The Auto-optimiser is safe to try on a single row; it’s great for demonstrating quick value to stakeholders.
