AI Insights gives you a live, high-level view of GEOmatic’s activity on your site. It’s lightweight, privacy-conscious, and updates automatically so you can keep working while it runs.
Always-on status banner #
A green banner confirms that GEOmatic is optimizing your site in the background. It reassures editors that automation is active and they can continue publishing as usual. A “Prime data now” button lets you seed or refresh Insights immediately, with a small status message confirming the action.
Quick internal links #
At the top, shortcut buttons take you straight to Cockpit, AI Reporting, AI Bot Detection, AI Experience, Settings, and Documentation—useful for jumping from the overview into deeper tools.
KPI cards (at a glance) #
Five compact tiles summarize your current state:
- AI-Optimized Coverage — how much of your published content is ready for AI (optimized vs total). Each KPI includes a tiny “i” button that opens a friendly explainer.
- Pages Containing AI Schema — how many pages expose AI-friendly structured data (plus percentage).
- Pending Summaries (live) — a live count of pages waiting for an AI summary so you can see the queue shrinking as automation progresses.
- Distinct Bot Types (24h) — families of automated visitors detected in the last day (high-level only).
- Last AI Task — the most recent AI action with a human-readable time and exact timestamp.
A dedicated “How it’s calculated” help view documents the plain-English formulas (coverage, schema, pending, last task), aligning Insights with AI Reporting and Bot Detection so numbers stay consistent across the plugin.
Live charts (visual snapshots) #
Three clean charts help you spot patterns at a glance:
- Coverage — optimized vs remaining content.
- AI Schema — with-schema vs without-schema pages.
- Bots (families, 24h) — a grouped view of bot families seen in the last day.
Charts and KPIs auto-refresh on a short interval, so the page feels “live” without manual reloads.
Insights Plus (trend & activity extras) #
An extra row of cards adds depth beyond static KPIs:
- Trending Topics — a lightweight top-10 list that helps you see themes gaining traction.
- Real-Time Activity (last 60 min) — a slim indicator and chart of recent bot activity to gauge fresh interest.
- Competitive Baseline (7 days) — a daily snapshot of optimized and schema coverage, useful for weekly reporting and content planning.
How to use this page (typical workflow) #
- Glance at the banner to confirm automation is running; use Prime data now if you want an immediate refresh.
- Scan KPIs to understand coverage, schema adoption, any pending summaries, and which bot families have been active.
- Check the charts for a visual sense of balance (optimized vs remaining; with-schema vs without).
